Event description

The Institute for Sustainability Energy and Resources (ISER) is pleased to announce an engaging workshop opportunity with Professor Göran Roos – "Bridging the Gap: Strategies for Effective University-Industry Collaboration" at the University of Adelaide.

This three-hour workshop is designed to provide practical insights into the critical success factors and best practices for fostering productive collaborations between universities and industry partners.

University of Adelaide participants will gain a deeper understanding of the key barriers and challenges that often hinder these partnerships and learn practical strategies for overcoming them.

We strongly encourage UoA researchers and the staff members of the Business Development and Commercialisation teams to participate and take advantage of this unique opportunity.

This workshop will cover essential topics such as;

  • aligning research with business objectives,
  • navigating financial and regulatory constraints,
  • building strong, trust-based relationships with industry partners,
  • effective communication techniques for conveying complex research ideas to non-technical audiences, and
  • discover methods for structuring successful collaborations that meet the needs of both academia and industry.
